Privacy Policy
GuideMap.ai ("we," "us") provides AI consulting services. This page describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Questions? Use our contact form and ask for privacy.
What we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through this site:
- Contact-form details. When you reach out through our contact form, we collect your name, work email, company, optional company website, and your message. We use these to respond and to prepare for our conversation.
- Newsletter signup. If you subscribe to The GuideMap Brief, we collect your email address to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every issue.
- No payments. This site does not sell anything or process payments. We do not collect or store card details.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Netlify's server-side analytics, which counts page views in aggregate. It does not set cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not identify individual visitors.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and follow up about working together.
- To send you The GuideMap Brief, if you subscribed (and only until you unsubscribe).
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful (via cookieless analytics).
Where your contact details go
Contact-form submissions are emailed to our team — we do not store them in a database on this site. The email you provide is used as the reply-to address so we can get back to you. We don't add you to a marketing list without a separate opt-in, and we never sell your data.
Service providers we use
- Resend — delivers the notification email containing your contact-form submission.
- Buttondown — manages our newsletter list and sends The GuideMap Brief to subscribers.
- Netlify — site hosting and cookieless, aggregate analytics.
Each provider has its own privacy policy, linked above. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us.
Separately, if you register for the free AI Strategy Brainstorm, registration is handled off-site by Zoom. Anything you submit there is governed by Zoom's own privacy policy, not this one.
How long we keep your data
We keep your contact-form email (in our inbox) for as long as needed to follow up and maintain a record of the conversation. Ask us to delete it any time via the contact form and we will, subject to any legal record-keeping we're required to maintain.
Your rights
You can request a copy of, or deletion of, the data we hold about you through our contact form. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — same channel; we'll work with you to honor them.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
